How to use TrimDynamic?

I been trying to use TrimDynamic to “slice” off a model, like this guy does in the video at 12:37 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9M4qwD3fkg

But when I try to use it on my model, nothing happens. Am I suppose to hold a button, or fiddle with a setting first?

Hey there, in the video the artist is using ‘Clip Curve’ not trim dynamic. Hold Control and Shift and change your brush to Clip Curve. Hold those keys then drag the line. Hope this helps!
