How to transfer prior paintings into a newly imported UVed Mesh ?

I had a mesh without any UV sets. I sculpted and painted the mesh.
However, at the end I decided to create the UVs for this mesh.
So, I Morph Targe: Store MT. Once the UV was created I then re-imported back the model and Morph Target: Switch, then DelMT

At least this was the practice in 3.1, but now in 3.5 R3, there’s no Texture:Col>Txr button. I tried and it looked like that I lost all my painting I’ve done previously before exporting for the new UV setup.

Is there anyway, I can re-import a mesh with new UV and transfer all the painting I’ve done previously into my new imported UVed mesh? Please.:qu:

The options are quite clear and do just as they say, Tool / Texture Map / New from Polypaint creates a texture from your painting. Create and set size of UV map in Tool / UV Map palete.
