How to save various settings

Is there one specific button I can press to save various settings. It looks like preferences–>config there might be a place to save things. But this doesn’t seem to catch all my changes.

Everytime zbrush crashes, about once an hour on average. I have to load up all the little things that I like. I have to resize my doc window. Etc.

Okay so do have the doc the double size it under “document” there is something called save “save doc as startup document” or something to that effect. Brilliant. However that silly lightbox and a sphere still appear as default things. I don’t want this. I want a blank canvas.

Now I’ll also setup other things. For instance I don’t want to “align cursor to surface” . So I go into preferences–>edit and click this office. I would think that “store the configuration file” would allow me to circumvent having to do this every time.

I’ve "store config"ed and "save ui"ed. Yet that preference setting is not saved. Which button, or which workflow exists to do what I want to do as described above. Thank you.

Also how do I remove the “Save changes to Zbrush document before closing?” message. I would think this only trips up beginners. Rather would it not be more beneficial to ask “Save changes to ztools before closing?”

Also I want a favorite material to show up every time I startup zbrush. How do I do this? Basically I’m advocating for a master save all button. That’s saves the state of every user adjustable setting.

Saves me time. Allows me to do more work in a shorter time.
