Greetings! I use transpose master for zspheres rigging. But as the new version doesn’t save the rig, how can I save it? I read in help files it’s saved with the zproject. But when I load the project, there’s nothing like a saved rig in subtool master when I press pasteTM rig or press Tposemesh with zsphere rig pressed. Whre is it stored?
If you save the Project, using the Save As button in the File menu, then the Transpose Master data is saved in the ZPR file. So saving the project will also save the ZSphere rig.
When you load the project again the ZSphere rigged pose mesh will have a name beginning ZRig#. Select this and you will be able to continue posing with the rig. If you have already transferred a pose using the rig then it may be in Preview mode - just press A on the keyboard to show the rig.
Once you have the ZRig# tool selected you can use the StoreTM Rig button to copy the rig. If you want to copy the rig to a completely new model then:
- Load the model, or the project with the model, you want to use.
- Turn on the Transpose Master ZSphere Rig option and press the TPoseMesh button to create the combined mesh with a starter ZSphere.
- Press the PasteTM Rig button to paste the rig your stored earlier.
- Make sure you save the project - File>Save As.
You can store a ZSphere rig separate from a project like this:
- Press the StoreTM Rig button to copy the rig.
- Select the ZSphere tool in the Tool palette.
- Press the PasteTM Rig button to paste the rig onto the new ZSphere.
- Save this tool using the Save As button at the top of the Tool palette.
To use, simply load back into the Tool palette and then use the CopyTM Rig and PasteTM Rig buttons to copy to the TposeMesh as above.
Thank you Marcus! I indeed didn’t know it’s save separately in zrig tool. I now copy it and it’s ok mostly, but sometimes I get an error when merging subtools with subtool master. It doesn’t create a zsphere rig. It says select a zsphere, but ther e isn’t in subtools. So I have to save and open the project again, which fixes it temporaarily. Looks like it happens after I create a second rig.
