Hi
I’ve been asked to model a nappy, something which has lots of small elasticated folds, subtle bump textures and to make matters worse complex translucency.
My method has been to make the base model in 3dsmax in a flattened form as if the nappy had been stretched out. Take high res photos of the nappy in the same flattened position to get clean textures.
Now my problem is since I will need to use the high res textures to maintain the realistic look of the complex textures when I sculpt in the curtain type elasticated folds it stretches the texture over the limit.
So my question after that long explanation is does zbrush have a brush type either suited to maintaining the integrity of textures or a brush that is particularly good at creating curtain like folds?
Thanks for any tips here.
