How to paint different materials on sub tools.

I am looking for a tutorial that explains how to paint on sub tools.
For example I have 3 spheres, they all have the same skin shader, but I want one to have a metallic shader another to have plastic and another to have skin. When I change the material on one they all change.

Can some please share some advice as to how I can do this.

  1. Select your subtool.
  2. Turn on ‘Mrgb’ button.
  3. Select your material.
  4. Go to ‘Color’ menu and click ‘FillObject’.

Do the same for all other subtools and they will all have different materials.
