How to open eyes and mouth

I have modeled a character with it’s eyes closed and mouth closed.
But I want to be able to open they eyes and mouth to see both eye balls and teeth (inner mouth.)
Could someone please explain to me the technique I need to be able to open the eye lids and mouth.
How do I create that opening in my zbrush sculpture.

Also is there a way in Zbrush to create the blend shapes and have them transition from eyes open / close so I can continue sculpting while scrubbing the timeline to see the transition.

BTW I am familiar with Maya and I do have GoZ working.

How do I open a surface so I can make an eyelid slit or mouth slit.
Are there any tutorials showing this process.
My end result is to have a character I can rig, are all riggable characters traditionally modeled with open mouths?

I think there is a way to use masking and a clipping brush, but I am not sure how that is done…
