Hi everybody,
this is maybe a special question and I didn’t find any solution, but maybe someone knows:
I have a jacket with a separate arm and will need it later in exact the same position.
I want “only” to connect the arm with the jacket in the shoulder area (where they are of course also sewed together in reality.
The problem here is, that the arm touches the jacket at the full length (it is not in T-pose).
When I for example would dynamesh it, they will be melted together at the whole length.
I need in the end the exact same posing position, so I can’t use just transpose.
Because after I merged the two subtools, it will not remember the old position (because of the new topology I can’t store a layer).
Is there any Idea for a workaround?
- Maybe with masking?
- Or any trick of animation/morphing layers?
- Or with LiveBoolean?
- Or with using TransposeMaster (but there is no way to remember an old position)
If I could store a pivot position, I could try to rotate it slightly and after merging rotate it back. But I can’t store the pivot position.
Thanks for reply…
