I’m wanting to know how to mask straight lines??
I’ve tried a combo of MaskCurve, MaskRect and am not having success. I’ve even tried creating an Alpha (attached) but the I want to stretch that Alpha in some areas.
Isn’t there some way that I can use the MaskPen and snap my lines??
If you hold down Ctrl (so that the Mask brushes are selected) you can change settings in the Stroke palette. With the Mask Pen selected, try turning on Lazy Mouse, BackTrack, Snap To Track and Line. You might also want to select an alpha to get a crisp line.
If you like the result you can save as a new masking brush. If you save to the ZStartup/BrushPresets folder it will be available each time you launch ZBrush.
