How to make the eye area

Hi i am new to Zbrush and i do not know where to post this question so if it is the wrong place feel free to change it.

I want to know how i can make the eye area so that i can later animate it in Lightwave with morphs.

Yes i can place a zsphere into another zsphere and than there is a hole but i also want the upper and the lower lid and i saw here some cool objects with nice eyes.

So maybe someone can tell me how he made it or maybe make a little zscript for me and others too?

Thank you in advance

Mathias

Hi!

There’s no magic way to create eyes sockets. You have to sculpt it all the way but one very effective thing to do (as with any feature) is to start shaping from sublevel 1, go as far as you can then go to sub level 2, go as far as you can, then go to sub level 3 …
For the eye socket you’ll have to add an edge loop in order to have enough polys to work with.

Then you’ll need to decide which one of the edge loop is going to be the eyelid. Then in Edit mode (at sublevel 1 ) with your move tool (draw size = 1) move the various points of the poly to shape the upper eyelid and the lower one. Rotate the model to see if the shapes are correct. When you think you cant go further, go to sublevel 2 and work your shapes…

Well I don’t know if you understand but my point is that you simply need to shape it keeping in mind that you need to create a spherical shape in order to insert the eyeball later (if your are working on an humanlike model !!!).

Good luck;)
