How to get SubTools popup to display an alphabetized listing

I’m using ZBrush 4R6,

When I press the ‘N’ hotkey, it displays a SubTool popup containing all of my subtools. But there is no alphabetized listing along the top which would allow me to select a subtool based on a letter selection. Do I need to turn on a setting on within my Preferences to convert from plain to alphabetized listing across the top of the SubTool popup?

Any assistance is appreciated,

Norman

You should have ZB4R6 P2…
Alphabetized list? N gets you a popup, WYSIWYG.

I think that feature was disabled in ZBrush 4R5 for technical reasons. You can select any subtool directly by holding Alt and clicking on it.

OK, that is what I was afraid of.

I’m currently working on large anatomical sculpture and while its generally more useful to ALT-click to select a particular sub-tool, there are areas consisting of numerous small sub-tools where its easier to select by name.

I knew that I had seen that functionality in previous versions of ZBrush and just wanted to be sure that I wasn’t missing a Preferences setting.

Thanks, Norman
