How to get rid of the "jaggies" in BPR renders?

Hello everyone,

I have tried everything I can think of…all BPR settings variations as well as document double/AAHalf etc. but this model has 8million polys and BPR still renders it poorly. Here’s a sample of what I am seeing:

Notice the weird banding going on, even though the model is very high in polycount. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this (BTW - I am using version 4R4 P2 and the material is SkinShade4. The model has a texture).

Thanks for the help.

that looks like your shadow settings. up the number of rays being cast

Make sure SPD is turned on for BPR AO and Shadows, set sPix to ay least 2. Rays at 128 and res at 512 should help also. The SPD turned on should do it.

That did it. Thanks so much Mahlikus. BTW - I’m a native Texan myself.

Sorry to say but I don’t like it too much here compared to the east coast. I really miss New England.
