I created a seamless texture and export in 2x2 map but there is always a black line border. How to avoid this? Thanks.
This is an ancient bug/feature/issue…
If you use the MRGBZ Grabber to make a snapshot of the canvas and then save the texture it will work. If you export the image from the document menu, you will have the seam.
Best of luck

PS:Added benefit… save the alpha as well and use it as depth map, or bump or displacement map for cheap effects…
Where is the MRGBZ? Thanks.
Where the sphere and the cube hang out and have a beer with the spring and the saw blade.

It didn’t work, the artifact appear only when export the image not visible within Zbrush. The only way is create an action in Photoshop to expand the image horizontally by 4 pixel.
When you capture with the MRGBZ grabber then go to the texture and export it. Not the canvas… I use it all the time with Cinema4D. Of course… expanding works as well but alters/resamples your image.

If C4D auto contract a few pixels from the texture seam border it may work but I create a master seamless texture and make more variations in 2d program, however you grab and export, the seam is there and it is an alignment problem should be easily fixed, too bad for the minority like me.
just did a test with the MRGZB, if you leave on AutoCrop, you won’t get the seam, HOWEVER, the image will not be the correct size, it will be a few pixels smaller, if you turn OFF Autocrop, you will get the correct size but have the seam.
If i remember correctly the only way to deal with this issue is to do a Best Render, (with shadows off if you want) and that seems to work.
Tried that, the seam is at the bottom, export issue but print-screen worked! Since tillable texture usually within 1024 and smaller.
IN any case… it’s very bad that this has never been fixed. It’s a problem in ZBrush for ages and it’s never been fixed. The problems comes up a LOT of times.
