can somebody tell me, how to get larger prints (renderings) than the actual preview window resolution just using the zbrush application?
Don’t quote me on this, but II believe you change the size of your document to the size of the rendering needed.
it is indeed the document size you have to change. You do that first and then open the tool you want to render.
I resized the document but will always just get the render resolution of the physical screen in use. Can I save any data in a higher resolution? I couldn´t find any setting for it.
Make the document the resolution you want to render at. Scale your objects too fit the scene.
I would have add you have to use the Scale for the document itself and not for subtools to organise your subtools as you want. ZAppLink could be a great alternative too. If you are recording a video, just remember to set the recording mode on Document and Large.
