as i sclupt my model ,i often suffered that the model is far from the canvas, model is very small. it can’t back into the centre of the canvas , i don’t know how to fix that… if i click alt + LMB , it can’t be back into the centre either…help me! thanx !
I have found that your base mesh in Max/Maya needs to be near the origin, if so it translates to the center of the world in ZB. Try that.
Maybe also try _ under Transform menu- S.Pivot. See if that works.
What happens if you press F on your keyboard?
thanx your reply,aurick!..if i press F , the effect is as same as i click alt+ LMB , the model is still very far from the centre of the canvas, if i rotate the model or zoom it in ,it is blocked by bg plane , just like the model is behind the canvas. the problem still exist.
thanx your reply… but i start with Zsphere for modeling…:o
perhaps there is a stray zshpere that is real small?
thanx your reply! but i 've tried that… but the problem still exist…
Try turning off the preview (if you’re still working with ZSpheres) and then pressing Tool>Deformation>Unify.
i’ve come across this alot, now as soon as it happens i undo.
re-starting zb may work but usually if you saved before it happened.
I notice this happens when working with zspheres and PM made from zspheres.
If you are using maya, a workflow i have adopted to avoid this issue and fragin import/export re-ordered verts is to asap establish a link between your main app and zb.
which means exporting out of zb, import into app, export, then re-import.
For once i think this is a zbrush error, the work around is to cleanse your model outside zb before any serious modeling.
Thanx very much for your suggestion!
i 'll pay attention to save that from now on…
thanx ,aurick … i 'll try to fix that follow your step…
