How to Fix Seams in ZBrush 3.5 R3???

How do you fix the normal map seams in Zbrush 3.5 R3??? Please

I remember Zmapper could generate seamless maps. Thank you.

I’m having problems with zbrush 3.5. I think I have tried every fix on the internet, from flipping the color channels to checking my export settings for
the umptieth time and even trying xnormal, to no avail.

I eventually reinstalled zbrush 3.1 and reexported using zmapper and it worked
first time, perfect normals. The only problem is zbrush 3.1 won’t load in newer ztools. Anyone know of a workaround for that?

thanks,

e1 export you tools as .obj and reimport into 3.1

that works a treat!

  1. load your ztool in zbrush 3.5r3
  2. just pick the lowest level of your ztool and export it as an obj
  3. then go to your highest level and do the same
  4. open up zbrush 3.1
  5. import the low level obj
  6. subdivide it to the same level as your original tool
  7. go to the highest subdivision and import your hires obj
  8. open up zmapper

et voila, ready to export a seamless normalmap

Thanks for your help,
