how to export texture help?

hello i having problem exporting paint as a texture when i press TXR>COL my model turn black them when i check the texture menu it only export an alpha texture? i m clueless plz help if anyone know what is the problem?

Black silhouette resulting from Col>Tex usually means that your UV mapping has been deleted or you had none in the first place.

To test, try applying UVs by first pressing TOOL:Texture:GUVTiles, then try Col>Tex again.

Rather than try to solve the problem over multiple posts, why don’t you start by reading the Wiki about polypainting to understand the whole process. After that, experiment by painting on a simple model like the polysphere until you can succeed in transferring your polypainting to a texture map.

Then, go back to your figure and try it again.

By the way, what does your polypainting on the model look like? If you show that it might help understand what went wrong during transfer to the texture map.
