How to dock brushes to the left side

Hello everybody
I try to dock some of my favourite brushes on the left side, right below the “switch color” button.
But I can’t, because I don’t know what to do it. Simple drag and drop does not work.
Can someone please tell me how to do that?
And also, how to store that layout afterwards…
