What? Every document is 2.5D until you put in a 3D object and turn on Edit. Care to elaborate a bit more?
Hi zber,
yes I know that it starts in 2.5D (it just was a test)
But now I want to have it back like before (with an empty canvas at start up)
Do you know how to revert that?
Thanks
Just create a new one and save as startup doc. It will overwrite the one you have.
ok, sounds somehow logical … sorry for asking that stupid question ;))
NP! wasn’t a stupid question, I just wasn’t exactly sure what you were after.
So, here is another small question:
Sometimes the document size is important (“grabDoc”).
Would it be any disadvantage to leave it always on 4096 x 4096?
Or will it slow down other tasks? (I tried of course but wasn’t sure if there is any difference)
Thanks
Probably the only difference would be is that it would use more RAM, about 400 MB for 4096 x 4096. If you have lots of RAM, like 16 GB or more, it shouldn’t cause any slow-downs. After all, if your not working in 2.5D, the document doesn’t do anything except just sit there waiting for you to render.
