i was just following meats’ wired tutorial and he said to delete the lower res levels and delete the hidden pts.
thing is i can’t find the delete lower subd level slider in under geometry. neither is the button to delete hidden pts…
help someone?
i followed it the tutorial…
made zshpere, modeled, made it into adaptive skin, preview, set subd to about 4-5 but when i go to geometry, it just lets me go back to the lowest or highest sub d resolution. i can’t delete it.
You’ve not switched to your Adaptive Skin tool - in other words you are still editing your ZSphere model in Preview mode. (I know, this is a bit confusing, but stay with it and you’ll get used to it!) In the Tool menu look for the tool name Skin_ZSphereCopy1 (or similar). Select that and draw it on the canvas (you may have to click OK to switching tools). Enter Edit mode and then the various options will be available. (If your ZSphere model has been snapshot to the canvas clear it by pressing Ctrl+N.)
