how do you go about deleteing stuff on a zbrush polymesh model?
Hide the parts you want to be deleted and press “delete hidden” …

thx for the help. but, how do i select the sections to be deleted?
you can mask the area you wish to delete, then go to tools:masking and click on invert so that the part you wish to delete is white. then click hide pts button in same menu.
now go to tools:geometry and select delete hidden.
you can also choose the parts by ctrl-shift click-dragging on them to choose them then ctrl-shift click drag outside of model to reverse (so that the parts you want to delete are hidden) and go to tools:geometry and select hidden.
