I pretty much never use polypaint. Yet, for some reason, it always activate at random times when I’m working. It’s probably some shortcut I’m doing without knowing…
as you might understand, it is a real nightmare.
Is there a ways to deactivate it so it doesn’t activate again?

There are no shortcut keys for the buttons that activate PolyPaint. I don’t know why it would be happening to you unless you mistakenly set such a shortcut key yourself or possibly are using some plugin that has added it.
PolyPaint is a core ZBrush feature. It can’t be disabled altogether.

I’m starting to think it has something to do with working on different layers. Also, many brushes I use have RGB ticked on by default. The problem usually happens when I get on an other layer and start masking. The whole mesh suddenly turns black.
Oh well, If I can’t deactivate it, I’ll just deal with it…
