As the title you see, thanks for any replies…
Simply go to: Tool \ Normal Map
When generating a normal map I usually select “Tangent”, “Adaptive” and “SmoothUV”, then click “Create NormalMap” button. To export click “Clone NM” The normal map will then appear on the left as a texture, right click that and go to the “Export” button.
You can also export your model complete with texture map, displacement map and normal map. This page give details for that: http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Scott_Spencerhttp://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Scott_Spencer
Hope this helps
There isn’t any option inside either Displacement map nor Normal map for setting the map resolutions, or does it automatically sets those depending on the level of detailing??
Sorry if this seems a stupid question but am new to zbrush soo…
Plz reply guys…
thanks in advance…
You set your map resolution using the Tool>UV Map menu.
Yeah I’m new to Zbrush too, but yeah you guessed it right & as aurick states the resolution for the disp map and normal map match the UV map. I presume that that is true even if the UVs where generated outside of Zbrush.
Yeah figured that out, but thanks for your reply its selfless people like u who have made forums a knowledge base.
I regret to say i’m so late to reply here, and i really appreciate that you explained everything in such detail, and i’ve got it…thank you very much, and thanks everybody… :b2:
