How to control the topoloop?

Using the Topology brush, click+Shift+drag off of mesh onto canvas then you can postion loop.

Doing “loops” on a sphere is probably not a good way to topologize it though.

I don’t think you can do that on a sphere with the Topology brush. You would have to draw the topolgy lines on manually without
“looping”.

ps:with the cube the loop work fine! just experimenting

Are you holding shift? As far as I can tell that’s looking more to put the loop across the entire diameter (which makes the behavior far less bizarre and more controlled, just not what you want in order to create those smaller loops). The cube would look fine as the loops dont get smaller.

You might just have to draw your curve, rotate a bit, and continue.

Just release the mouse to end the curve, rotate the mesh, and continue drawing a new one.
