how to clear screen after tweaking...?

Hi all!

I load a tool and I tweak it and it looks okay. I save the tool as whatever. Now I want to clear the screen, or stage, and tweak on the original tool for another attempt.
How do I do this?

I’ve been shutting zbrush down and then reloading the same toll and tweaking once again.

Thanks!

After you tweak your tool and save it as a tool with a different name than the original tool, come out of “edit” mode. Hit Control-N for “new document”. This will clear the screen. Then, load your tool back up.

Actually, I think Ctrl-N just clears your current layer, which is still probably what you want to do. If you really want an entirely new document, you’d use the “New Document” button in the Document pulldown menu, or the "Initialize " button in the preferences menu (although that would clear your tool as well).

You can also just create a new document. Press Document: New Document.
