Okay, I don’t get the description of the Perspective button where it tells you how to change the vanishing point. I shift click it and there’s no difference. And where is this deformation slider it speaks of?
That’s an outdated description. I dont think you’ve been able to set the focal point since ZB 2.x (which sucks, because I think I was the only one who actually used the feature when I was making 3d maps).
The “deformation” slider appears to have been replaced by the “focal length” slider in the Draw palette.
I had a feeling it might me that. But that description also made it sound like it was something you could see and drag on the canvas. Or is that also an outdated description?
Yes, you used to be able to do that in 2.x. It was fairly confusing though, and I dont think many people ever used it. It stopped working in 3.x. It doesnt seem to work in any manner i can see in 3.5
I think the Ctrl-mousover description is simply out of date.
I used to use it all the time when setting up scenes in ZBrush.
