How to change origin of stroke curve function?

Hello. I am trying to project a CurveTube brush along a stroke path using the curve function. When I click the curve with the selected brush, the shape I am trying to achieve is skewed because the origin of the stroke is in the corner, causing that corner to look different than the rest. I have an imaged attached. If I was able to change the origin to a straight part of the path instead of the curved corner, it would be fine. How do I change the location of the stroke origin point?

In the future, could you please post bigger images. You are allowed 500 kb image file size. Thanks!

You may want to open the Stroke pallette for settings inside. Note lock start and lock end. Mesh density will matter in some cases.
Where you click would be the stroke origin(start). Make sure you’re in a suitable view to draw curve as needed. HTH.

By stroke palette, you mean the Brush drop down where Curve Function is found? I messed around with these settings and still havent had any luck. No matter where I click on the stroke projection, I still originates in the top left hand corner. I even went into the brush settings of the Curve Tube brush and was unable to find anything helpful.

This one. >> http://docs.pixologic.com/reference-guide/stroke/ Not sure what you’re trying to make. Read and tinker some more or give us a better idea of what you’re trying to do. About all I can say at this point. Link to docs below my post and on the forums here. Both have a search box.

I can’t tell from your small picture, but if you’re trying to insert a tube around that yellow group, you should be able to click the frame mesh button in the stroke palette with groups selected.
