How to center a tool handle?

I was using a zbush 4 tool. And movement of tool was nicely rotating around the center but now it’s as if it’s handle moved to an edge.

How do you center a tool handle or a mesh handle in ZB4?

Also now when I apply a deformation it seem to not be centered anymore.
I made a starfish suppose to be thck in middle thin at leg tips. But when I apply the taper deformation tool it does not evenly apply it favors the side toward the uncentered handle.

I’m hoping that centering the handel will solve that.

The easiest way to do it is by exporting your mesh to your 3dapp, center it there and then get it back. With GOZ it will be a walk in the park.
Or if you want to do it in Zbrush, turn the GRID On and move it  Then do some smart resym from transformation.

Also check in the Preview submenu in Tool menu, whats the situation there. :+1:

I just closed zbrush. Then I open it and Rebuilt my my tool. And it’s staying centered now.
But thanks, because next time I can look to this thread to help me out. I’ll try what you mentioned when it happens again someday.

Thanks
For the help.

If you deselect “Local” your mesh will be centered. It will also be centered around the last action you did on the mesh.

At least this is my opinion.

Thanks for the help
I’ll try that

If Local Transformations is on, holding down the Shift key and clicking on any part of your mesh will cause the camera to rotate around that point.

Maybe that’s how I got things off center. I’ll keep that in mind

Thanks

what handle?

it won’t effect anything in your tool unless you used those action line.
