is there a way to assign texture maps to different polygroups of a single subtool or in other words multiple texturemaps to a subtool which is one model, like the way we can in 3ds max or other 3d softwares.
please if there is a way, kindly answer,
iam relatively new so do not know if the question should be posted here or elsewhere,so pardon me .
hope the question is answered soon
Hi!
You can paint your textures to each polygroup as polypaint with spotlight
Funny, I was just watching this yesterday. These should help a lot:

thanks brothers for responding,
but its not for exporting iam working on.in fact i want to render in zbrush.
i want to apply texture and displacement maps for different polygroups(which already have uv’s) of one model without spliting it up (cos i also want to change poses.).
please if there would be way it would make my life lot easy.
yes i can hide-unhide and with texturemaps appy as poly paint, but that requires me to boost the polycount to a lot and i cant have an ease to tweek displacement and more so the poly paint doesnot actually give wanted results unless geometry cranked to a very high level and also that i would need multiple subtools like that would make my system slow.
So, for instance you move or bend an arm or leg. That changes the uv’s. You might have to spilt it up and use Transpose Master for posing.
