I’m currently working on a model sculpted in zbrush. I imported it into maya and wanted to render it using pixar renderman (renderman studio). I followed the steps in Scott Eaton’s tutorial, and it renders well. However, the tutorial did not explain how to change the subdiv level/adjust it to a higher level(with higher poly count) to make the sculp details appear properly. I have rendered the same model using mental ray and it renders properly with all the details that was sculpted in zbrush. I’m using a 32-bit displacement map by the way. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
