how do you seperate the head from the body in Zbrush

From my post on odd displacement maps.

Ok so here is why it is happening…my character was made up of two seperate UV set’s in Maya…so when in Zbrush the software can’t figure out which set to use to make a displacement map, so it chooses one.
Hence the jagged edges where the other UV set would be.

Next question, how do you seperate the head from the body in Zbrush so I can keep all the work I have done on the head and body and make seperate displacement maps???

Can I use the curretn UV maps as a way to mask and seperate the two peices?

Any ideas folks??
