How do you make a mesh see-through? [Answered]

Hey peeps apologies for a beginner question:

Is it possible to make a mesh transparent so you can see the other side while you are sculpting?
IE: Like “alt + X”’ in 3DS MAX.

There’s no direct way of doing this in ZBrush. You can press Tool>Display Properties>Flip. This will flip the normals so that you can see the backfaces instead of the frontfaces, enabling you to sculpt from the ‘inside’.

Ah ok, I had a feeling it would either be something incredibly easy that I was overlooking or the way Zbrush worked would not allow it. Thank you for the reply ^___^

So if i wanted the underside of this continent to be the same as the top is there some kind of trick I can use? Realign an objects symmetry perhaps?

You could mask the side you want to keep then use Tool>Deformation>Smart Resym to mirror the detail. Make sure that you choose the right axis.
