how do you create a displacement (vector disp?) from meshes with differnt topology?

is it possible in zbrush ? for example create a low poly mesh and a highpoly mesh in sculptris export them to obj and bake the dislacement map in zbrush …is this possible in current version zb4r3 that doesn’t have zmapper anymore ?

You divide your new model and use ProjectAll and the ZProject brush to copy from one model to the other. Then you can create your map.

do I really need to use the zproject brush ? can’t this be done with project all only ?

how do you keep the 1st subdivision level unchanged while the 5th subdivision level gets heavily modified ?

for me it always modifies the 1st subdivision level and that is really against the whole point of extracting a vector displacement map to apply to a low res mesh
