How do you add zspheres to a model?

I have a model but want to attach zspheres to it to make extra arms. I cant seem to figure out how to do this nor can I find a tutorial on how to do it. Is it even possible to do this? If it is I would really appreciate it if someone would tell me how.

Do subtools work for Zspheres?

Yes but you cant move or change the zsphere model at all if you append it to another model.

Sure you can.

Append the ZSpheres to the original model as a new SubTool.

Select the new SubTool (the ZSpheres).

Edit away, just like you normally would with ZSpheres. You can turn the preview on and off, and do anything else that ZSpheres allow.
