How do I turn on Lazy Mouse?

Hello, I’m brand new at ZBrush, and I’m reading Eric Keller’s Book ‘Introducing ZBrush’, but this is from 2008. He’s talking about the Lazy Mouse, but when I go into the Stroke Palette and Lazy Mouse sub-palette, the only button I can click on or off is the Relative button, nothing else is clickable. Any hints?

You have to have a mesh on the canvas and be in Edit mode (T).
