How do I transfer sculpt details?

So I have a high poly sculpt and I want to transfer the details to a new mesh with new UVs. I have an intermediary that occupies the same physical space as the low poly mesh but shares the UVs of the sculpt.

How can I transfer the sculpted detail to this intermediary so that I can project it to the final mesh?

Or is there another way entirely that I should go about this? Keep in mind I’d like to keep the sculpt in tact in ZBrush so I can continue working on it.

You can achieve this through Morph Targets.

Basically what you want to do is go to your highest subD level.

Then click Store Morph Target.

Go back down to your lowest subD and Click IMPORT from the tool load box thing (like u imported a base mesh the first time)

Then select your new base mesh with the UV’s

Then divide that mesh back to the subD level the high poly one had.

Click “Switch” under the Tool:Morph Target section.

It should work! Do a test export of a texture!
