How do i rotate an image in Surface Noisemaker?

Hi, I’m using a custom image created in photoshop as my surface noise. It’s UV’d as it should be but i was hoping to mask off certain areas and adjust the rotation of the image created to appropriately match the flow of the model however when i use the Offset or Angle sliders, nothing happens. I can adjust the scale, magnify, strength, color and noise curves in the option but nothing when it comes to offset and angle. Am I missing something here? I tried one of the standard and prremade NoisePlug patterns that come with Zbrush and i can manipulate them fine but not a custom image i load. I welcome any feedback on this issue. thanks!

I believe there is no option for adjusting angle in a load image in the noise maker. It just works for Zbrush parametric noises.
The only way i know is by editing the UVs to match an square straight vertical and horizontal image.

Perhaps you can make use of Spotlight.>> http://pixologic.com/zbrush/features/spotlight/

Thank you for the replies. Yeah, I was hoping i was just missing something, but you confirmed what i was beginning accept. and that’s that the UVs would have to be manipulated manually. Furthermore, Thanks again for the suggestion. Spotlight will be the way to go. I was just hoping to avoid the tediousness of moving all around the character to match the flow I’m trying to attain. But hey, it’s all art in the end… and art is both fun and therapeutic in the long run, haha. Thanks again!
