What’s the best way to add a separate teeth object to a model using Dynamesh? I realize I could model the teeth in a separate application and import them but I was wondering if there’s a simple method to create the teeth as a separate mesh right in ZBrush? I have already selected the “Group” option button but I am unclear if there is a simple way to create a mesh without dragging a sphere into the scene?
Bumping this. Anyone!
You could use the InsertMesh brush to add meshes for teeth. You can assign any mesh to the InsertMesh brush, simply by clicking the preview in the Brush>Modifiers menu. That way you could model a basic tooth separately and then insert it multiple times into your model.
Thanks Marcus. That sounds like a good way to go about it. I still wish ZBrush had a way to start building a mesh from nothing like 3DCoat does but maybe in the future.
