How do I delete a texture map? (ZB wont let me paint)

I downloaded a female base mesh ZTL online but zbrush won’t let me paint on it because the guy created (I guess ‘baked’) a texture map on it for the meshes eyebrows.

How do I delete this map so I can paint on it? Thanks.

If there is an actual texture applied, you can switch this off in Tool > Texture Map when the tool is in edit mode.

If the texture is applied as Polypaint and you simply wish to disable but not delete it, you can switch off the Polypaint display via the paintbrush icon in the top row of the entry for the subtool in the Subtool Palette.

If you wish to overwrite (clear) that polypainting, just fill it with other polypaint. Color > Fill Object, with the appropriate channel selector active (m=material, RGB =Color, MRGB=color + material) will repaint the object with the active color and/or material selections.

Ok never mind. You have to go to Tool > Texture Map and select No Texture to delete it. That threw me because ‘no texture’ was already selected in the main config but thats for texturing the tool, not after any map is created.
