How do I delete 3d meshes

Hey guys, this is something that has always bugged me in zbrush, and I’ve decided to see if any of you great people know a way to do this. Whenever I work on a model and do any retopo work, or create new 3d meshes, they stay in some sort of history in my 3d mesh palette, this becomes really messy, and I’m sure it is taking up space, resulting in my file taking 10 minutes to save, it so annoyingggg.

How ow do I clear this history please?

Save the tool (ZTL file) not the project (ZPR file). ZPR files save more of the UI, settings, and models. ZTL just saves the model.

Thanks, i tried that and it worked, this seems like a bit of a cumbersome method though, is this a workaround or is there a simple button to press that will just delete old meshes.

You can delete tools in a project by deleting every subtool in the subtool list for that tool.

You can clear the tool “history” by pressing the “r” button in the tool menu next to the selection slider. This will not physically delete the tools from a file, but it will clear that visible history, making it more manageable.
