hello, i am new to zbrush and was wondering, if i modeled just a head, like this for example http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?t=141791
how can i add a body to it? and if i wanted to add ojects also. thank you.
The best way to do so would be to sculpt the body separately, and “appen” it to your head using the subtool menu.
Once you’ve done this, either merge those tools (still in the subtool menu) or retopologise them into one manually.
The first option is the quickest BUT you’ll lose all previous subdivision levels so it will be harder to work on it, especially if the body and head parts have very different polygon size.
The second option is a little more technique and takes some time but it’s better in any other way. You should find numerous tutorial on how to retopologise on ZBC (ZClassroom) or youtube.
I did the same mistake a few months ago, when I started to use ZBrush.
My personnal advice is to always start with a ZSphereed mesh of your entire character. You can do the head only if you want at first, hiding the rest of the mesh if your computer is not strong enough.
To add multiple object, use the subtool menu and append them.
