How do I access the new alphas in ZData>Alphas?

I copy/pasted a bunch of alphas from various sources, mainly ZBCentral, into ZDATA > Alphas. But, when I click on Alphas in the menu and then on one of the alphas, the startup alphas palette does not include any of these new alphas I added. In fact, when I look in the ZDATA > Alphas folder, I don’t see the Startup Alphas.

From within ZBrush, how do I access the new alphas I copy/pasted into ZData > Alphas?

When you load up zbrush, and you click on the alphas palette, have you tried pressing the “import” button to load up your new alphas that you just downloaded? Not all your new alphas will show up when you start up since zbrush can only show you so many of the preloaded alphas.

Unless, I’m mistaken, let me know if this works for you.

Yep, works. Thanks.

You should NEVER modify the ZData folders. There’s a folder in the ZBrush3\ZStartup folder. This is where you should put your custom startup alphas.
