How can ZBrush be reinstalled without license recovery

I’ve had some problems with ZBrush 3.1 running on Windows Vista home edition. After restarting ZBrush several times with the same results, then restarting windows then Zbrush several times with the same result, I uninstalled ZBrush and did a complete installation. I got a license recovery dialog when I restarted Zbrush.

I live in a central time zone and usually work with ZBrush between Friday evening through Monday, so if a license recovery issue occurs, my work week is shot because I would have to wait until Monday at noon before getting ZBrush’s license recovered.

Has anyone been able to delete ZBrush from their hard drive then do a complete install or do a reinstall so that it would not cause a license recovery dialog, if so what are the steps?

It’s not possible to do a reinstall of ZBrush without having to recover the license, unless you also reinstall Windows.

If you are in a recovery situation outside of Pixologic’s business hours, make a post in the Registration Support forum. In that post include your cleverbridge reference number or registered email address and the authorization request code that ZBrush is giving you. I check ZBC on and off outside of normal work hours, and if I see such a post I will assist right away.

Hi Aurick i just posted my problems in the Registration Support forum. I tried calling support but it’s the weekend so no one’s around. I’d love to get this problem solved this weekend if possible.

Thanks!
