I have a model I had began to apply textures on.

I want to transfer the textures to another model with the same shape.

How can I transfer the texture of one model to another?

  1. Convert the texture to polypaint.
  2. Append the second model as a SubTool and make sure it’s selected.
  3. Make sure Draw>Rgb is active. Turn Zadd off.
  4. Press Tool>SubTool>Project All.
  5. Convert the polypaint to a texture.

If I were to have UV’d the model first, would I have avoided getting the gray bands?

So how did u fixed the Uv map problem or did u created a new one. Im also stuck to this point
