I was looking at the tutorial video for zclassroom. And the instructor does projection and it just works magically for 4 sides of the model. http://pixologic.com/zclassroom/homeroom/lesson/projection-master/#sebastien-legrain-part-2 at 3:30. How can I do what he did?
Thanks!
Go to “Tool > Display Properties” and turn on “Double” before going into Projection Master.
I had this on but it still isnt doing double sided at all.
Here is exactly what I did. I picked cube 3d > make polymesh 3d>dynamesh>projection master> checked double sided, deformation, normalized.(nothing else is checked). drop now> drew a line>pickup now.
In the Projection Master settings, make sure “Double Sided” is enabled and “Fade” is disabled.

Thanks for taking the time. This is what I had originally, im not sure why it is not working. Oh well, its not too bad I can just smart resymetry the model…
It works for me. I don’t know why it’s not working for you. With “Double” turned on in Tool > Display Properties and the Projection Master settings I have shown, it will do all 4 sides. You just won’t see the change until you exit Projection Master.
It works for me too. Maybe it’s just one of those quirks that a closedown and reopen of ZBrush might fix?
Its very weird. Thanks for helping guys. I’ll report back if I find a solution. Closing and reopening doesn’t work.
You didn’t mention that you turned on “Double” in “Tool > Display Properties”. Did you omit this step? This has to be on.

Nice! It worked. Thanks so much Zber2 and dillster.
I guess you misunderstood what I said in post #2 then!
What am I doing on the forums. I dont even know how to read. Thank you for posting a pretty picture. Oops…
