Hot Stuff! - Scooter Girl Pin Up

Hi!

My job has taken a turn for the technical this last year, so I’ve hardly had a chance to do any ZBrush work. When 3.5 was released I decided I should really get my arse in gear and do some personal stuff. Also, I saw a piece of work on here that really inspired me to get sculpting again - Gregory Callahan’s Rollerbunny. Awesome work!

So, this is my first personal piece for almost a year. Hope you guys like it!

fantastic work!

Great job! Wonderful sculpting!

This is really great! I like it a lot. There’s a happy medium here between realism and animation-style that works very well, and you’ve made your own.

I liked!! very nice and Beauty

Good job…liked the concept

Love the Vespa.

Crits would be that there is something creepy about her mouth/teeth. And her hair could use some more detailing or something.

Good work knocking off all that rust though.

great sculpt. i think the texture could need some rework.

fantastic!!! That´s all done in Zbrush?

Wow…really hot piece! Love the result!

Simply brilliant!

earthtriber, DAnconia, Timbone, arthurduque, vkarts, SolidSnakexxx, meletis, lemonnado, hyunga-no-kaiten, adampof: Thanks!

Chris Spade: I agree with your comment about the facial expression. I might revisit that at some point as I am not 100% happy with it either. A few people have also commented that the hair isn’t too great! :o

Al. Tintop: Fair crit. I don’t usually texture my high res scults so this is a new experience for me. I’m quite new to (good) shading, lighting and rendering in general, so this is something I am trying to improve.

hell666: The hard surfaces of the scooter and all the base meshes were modelled in Maya. The rendering was done in 3dsmax with vray.

Toks-S: Thanks! More untextured pics:

Very cool ! :+1:

Awesome work! the face is stunning.

Cheers.

Very cool sculpt! I would say that the hair looks slightly unfinished compared to the rest of it. Awesome other than that! :+1:
