Been having some trouble with my normal map for my school assignement i get horizontal lines on it that overlap over my uv’s and show up on my character. when i look at my uv’s everything is fine it happend to me when i try to make my textures on zbrush too i am using zbrush 4
Your UVs go right to the edge (or possibly overlap) the UV space. This causes ZBrush to treat the UVs as overlapping with results like this. (You can check this by pressing Tool>Texture Map>New From UV Check when overlapping areas will show red.)
You need to scale the UVs down slightly so that they are within the UV space borders.
