i have a sculpt with many high poly meshes so the time to decimate has come. After decimating thou i don’t know what to do? Should i retopo? In ZBrush? Maya? Is it necessary if i only need that model as a sculpt and portfolio? Looking forward for your answer. Thank you in advance!
I think you really only need to retopologize the decimated version if you need to continue sculpting on it, or if you need a better edgeflow for something like games / animation. Otherwise if you’re happy with how it looks and the topology doesn’t matter, then you should be good.
