Does anyone know how to hide the lower poly model that appears when in HD geometry mode? Sometime the model gets in the way of texturing when using Zapplink and projects the model that is tranparent, on to the HD geometry as color information. I’ve been looking for a way to do this but so far, am unable to find an answer.
I figured it out! It’s not exactly what I wanted but it works for what I need. I was trying to use HD Geometry with Zapplink and projecting textures from photoshop, right? You should be able to do that, and it does, but it also projects the mesh of the lower res geometry (that you can’t edit), on to the HD Geometry as color information.
Go to Preferences>Draw
Turn Front Opacity to 0
Turn Back Opacity to 0
Also turn off Ghosting mode
The lower resolution model will still be visible, but then it will not be projecting the mesh detail as color information.
