Can´t get the shortcut to work for this.
Is it ctr+shift?
Or should I have the fn key as well?

Well, if you have your polygroups established, then I believe you would cmd + shift + click on any part of the group to hide the rest of the mesh. Otherwise you’re going to have to mask it off and then click hide pt in the masking palette. Note that there may be an easier way of doing that, but I’m not aware of it.
It was a shortcut for this before.
like when you hold down ctrl and make the mask area you could then
hold down shift and the area becomes another color and hide geometry!
Something like that!
But this dosen´t work on my MBP.

control + shift drag on osx. to hide (red box) control + shift then release shift. if you are in parallels or vmware you must be sure the keyboard is set up right in your preferences.
Thanks there it is!
I thought i had to just ctrl drag first and then the shift key!

I find cmd-shift works too in OSX ZB 3.12

interesting, I noticed that, after you said that. I have been using windows since 3.1 came out and the command key use to pop up the windows start menu so I just stayed away from that key. I found that undo is similar. it works with both keys also.
